Born in 1972 in Cádiz, Spain, Marcos developed a deep curiosity about how things worked in the world around him from an early age. Often exploring and experimenting on his own, he had a keen interest in understanding the mechanics behind everyday objects and processes. However, it wasn't until his college years that Marcos formally ventured into the arts, discovering a powerful means of expressing his insights and ideas.

In 1979, Marcos moved with his family to the United States, where he would go on to build a life rooted in both his Spanish heritage and the diverse cultures he encountered in America. Currently, he resides in Central Florida with his wife, Amanda, and their four children. His experiences living in Europe and the Caribbean have further broadened his artistic perspective, allowing him to draw from a rich tapestry of cultural influences.

Marcos’s art reflects his fascination with how things work, from the structures within communities to the intricate patterns of everyday life. Through his work, he reveals the underlying connections that shape our world, capturing the beauty of life’s complexities. Serving as the Director of Design and Visual Arts Consultant for Culinary Team USA, he played an integral role in visually representing the team during the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Olympics.
